Just to inform u all about choosing the right place to continue ur studies next time after SPM 'cause u will regret studying in a place that doesn't suit u . Well . i only know 1 thing : If u are interested in cooking or smth , i don't thing SG at-sunrise is a good place for u to start with . The fees for the whole term must be paid AT ONCE before starting it (most probably bcoz they are afraid that most of their students will leave) . And bcoz of this , they have an advantage . They already charge the fees and received the money , so they don't care whether u leave or not , they already got the money . I heard that their 'marks' are also given strictly . A bit of stain or hair or anything , they will deduct ur marks . They also have some stupid system or smth that is actually to let the students to give opinion and they will try to help the students . But instead , they gave stupid excuses about it and say the students are wrong this and that and even say"if u don't like then leave la" or smth . Next , they also 'force' the students to buy their cooking needs (as in knives , apron , uniform and towel/cloth . NOT INGREDIENTS LA) . At first , they only ask u to buy the uniform and knives , the apron and towel is provided by them and after using the students will return it for cleaning . The prices for the knives and uniform was already a bit high (100dolar i think) . The knives are horible and the uniforms were distributed after a long long time. After the first term , they asked the students to buy new aprons and towels (which is expensive and the quality is damn lousy) . They did not provide them any apron or towels anymore , and no more cleaning service . The students went to 'give their opinion' about it and they replied "ok lo , u don't but lo . In kitchen u don't have any apron or towel to use ur business lo . i deduct ur marks only ma." (or smth) . So in conclusion , better not choose at-sunrise to further ur studies . That's all .
